APN Settings of T-Mobile

Slow connectivity

You are not able to fix the data setting of your T- mobile (USA). Do not worry. Will provide the setting parameters to solve this problem.

If you are not able to send/ receive the multimedia messages, you can adjust APN setting as guided below.

These parameters are normally not adjusted. But to fix connectivity problem, you can adjust these APN settings.

Sometimes, slow connection problems are observed on the phone. It can be because of different version of APN configurations. Phone make does not matter. You can experience this problem in an iPhone (iOS), Android devices or Windows phone.

All phones share the same. The difference is only because of the network speed support of your mobile . Present phone models mostly support LTE 4G connections. This phone allows data download speed of 40 to 50 mbps. You can easily watch high definition or even 4K video on your mobile phon

Update APN Settings as per the following steps:


For Android Users:

Settings /

More /

Mobile Networks

and then you will See the Access Point Names menu


For iPhone or iPad:

main Screen go to Setup,

General, Network

Mobile Data.

Select T-Mobile APN created on the phone,

go to EDIT,

OR

you can hit MENU and Create a NEW APN.


Please put following values in the parameters :

Name: T-MOBILE – Non function field- does not affect functionality. You can write any name

APN: epc.tmobile.com  if you have an LTE phone, you use fast.tmobile.com instead

Proxy: Leave it Blank

Port: Leave it Blank

Username: Leave it Blank

Password: Leave it Blank

Server: Leave it Blank

MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc

MMS proxy: Leave it Blank

MMS port: Leave it Blank

MCC: 310

MNC: 260

Authentication type: Leave it Blank

APN type: default,supl,mms

(this fields is important for MMS features to work properly, they have a comma in between with no spaces). 

If you use a samsung device (e. g. Galaxy phones) you will have an option that shows a radio botton

internet+MMS – please select this one

APN Protocol: Leave it Blank
